Exhibition - Urban Grind

The flyer said A Mimobase Showcase 10th - 23rd Feb 08 @ Urban Grind 33 Latrobe Tce Paddington Open during cafe Hours

The artwork exhibited is a product of the many hours of creative output that eventuates after hours when Mark is not designing for the corporate world. These works are all composed of thousands of lines and geometric shapes, “twisted”, pushed and tweaked to their limit. To produce Mark’s unique style, an effect which he has termed “Vector Twisting”.

Mark’s artistic interpretation, is stretching the limits through a medium traditionally used by graphic designers, is what gives his ever evolving style a strong message. Mark portrays his vision of a future somewhere other thanEarth seen in ‘Fly Me to the Moon’ and ‘Fake Plastic Tree’, was inspired by a song originally by Radiohead, depicts the fragile world trapped under a protective layer of glass. The work you see is a creative snapshot of the last two years. His style of work continues to evolve and grow with the birth of every new artwork.
